Preregistration
To better serve you, the Lincoln Home School String Orchestras are initiating a preregistration process of a non refundable registration fee of $25 per family per year a month before we start rehearsals. By August 1 for the fall semester and if you join at the second semester by December 1. After the first of the month the fee is $50 per family. Tuition is due at the beginning of each semester. Monies can be sent to the LHSO Secretary, 3727 S 78th St. Lincoln, Ne. 68506.
Fall Semester 2024
The Lincoln home School String Orchestras Kick-Off will have introductions and Q and A at 4:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. At the regular rehearsal time 4:30- 6:00pm the young musicians will start rehearsal in the assigned rooms.
Dates: August 19, 26, September 9, 16, 23, 30 October 7, 14, 21, 28, November 4, 11, 18, 25, December 2.
Rehearsals: 4:30-6:00pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3825 Wildbriar Lane, Lincoln , Ne.
Concert: Monday, December 2, 2024 at 7:00pm, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3825 Wildbriar Lane, Lincoln, Ne.

Spring Semester 2025
The Lincoln Home School String Orchestras will commence regular rehearsals for the spring semester on Monday, January 6, 2025 in the assigned rooms.
Dates: January 6, 13, 20, 27. February 3, 10, 17, 24, March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, April 7, 14, 21.
Rehearsals: 4:30 - 6:00pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3825 Wildbriar Lane, Lincoln, Ne.
Concert: Monday, April 21, 2025 at 7:00pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wlidbriar Lane, Lincoln, Ne.
Conductors: Senior Orchestra Jacob Fahrlander, Intermediate Orchestra Grace Dowd, Junior Orchestra Ethan Welsh, Beginning Orchestra - violin/viola Chelsea Abels and cello Dr. David Pira.
Chamber Music Parties
Open to all young musicians including non- LHSO members who are interested in playing in a small group ensemble. Groups could be a duet, trio, quartet, quintet, or a choir.
Piano players and parents may also play in a group. Preformed groups are welcome. Groups may practice together before the party dates.
Dates: December 9, and 16.
Rehearsals: 4:30 - 5:45pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Concerts: Following the rehearsal time: approximately 5:54 - 6:00pm ( or until done)
Coaches: Kirsten Wisssink, Grace Dowd, Chelsea Abels, Ethan Welsh.
Cost: $20 per young musician player, whether you play one or both Monday Parties. Parents play for free.
